As an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will bring an Armed Guard Card or License and sound judgment to every interaction, while representing Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM

Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have 1+ years’ law enforcement experience or 2+ years’ security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years’ security experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities while assigned to an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, teller areas, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual or suspicious behavior; help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive conduct through visible presence and verbal engagement.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinate with site leadership and/or public emergency responders as directed, and document actions taken.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports and patrol activity logs, and maintain required equipment checks in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
