As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will support guests and staff with a customer service mindset while documenting activity using site technology. Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Patrol interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe for security-related concerns, and assist with badge or visitor processes per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation and coordinating with local law enforcement as needed.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
