Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a Level III armed certification for Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possess a current CPR certification.
Possess a current baton certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address various situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or activities, reporting findings according to site protocols.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by site procedures.
Adhere to all company and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
