As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents while monitoring and patrolling an advanced aerospace and defense location. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings promptly according to site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to those at the location.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
Complete detailed and accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Adhere to all company and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms, maintaining proper licensing and training.
