As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
Collaborate with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters and provide assistance.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or incidents requiring immediate attention, following all Allied Universal and client protocols.
