As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with an emphasis on locations related to food and beverage operations.
• Monitor for any suspicious activity or unauthorized persons and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Follow all company and client protocols regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.
• Document all incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during the shift as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during incidents or emergency situations.
• Participate in ongoing training and/or drills relevant to armed patrol and food and beverage environments.
