About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Federal Patrol Driver in Bushnell, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license, and it is an armed post requiring an armed guard card or license. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity while delivering through teamwork and strong communication.

Requirements

Have a minimum of 2+ years' law enforcement/military police/corrections experience.
Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government law enforcement location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, buildings, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential hazards.
Respond to calls for service, alarms, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site staff and local responders as directed.
Control access at designated points by verifying identification, monitoring authorized entry and exit, and/or directing visitors to appropriate check-in locations.
Complete required reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and/or shift pass-down information per site post orders and Allied Universal requirements.
