Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Media Patrol in Milford, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated tech-focused locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and identify any unusual activity.
Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and promptly report any security-related concerns or incidents to Allied Universal management.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences as required by site policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed, following established protocols.
Adhere to all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures regarding the handling and carrying of firearms, maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
