As a Security Officer - Armed Facility Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possess customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and reporting as necessary.
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or criminal activity through visible presence and thorough patrols.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned firearms and adhere to all applicable regulations and Allied Universal standards for armed personnel.
