As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a residential community, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post requiring an active guard card/license. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while helping to create a secure environment for residents and guests. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Law Enforcement, Corrections or Military
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the residential community.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals seeking access to the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Communicate with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, in accordance with site-specific procedures.
