As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will contribute to a secure environment while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols.
Maintain thorough and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and any security-related activities performed during the shift.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as necessary for incident response and reporting.
Remain alert and observant to identify and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards within the location.
