About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Route Patrol Driver in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in an armed post.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including perimeter areas, access points, production-adjacent spaces, and other restricted areas common to a chemical and petrochemical environment.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
Support emergency and evacuation protocols, provide visible presence at key areas, and complete required reports related to daily activity, incidents, and unusual observations.
