About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Route Patrol Driver in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in an armed post.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including perimeter areas, access points, production-adjacent spaces, and other restricted areas common to a chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
  • Support emergency and evacuation protocols, provide visible presence at key areas, and complete required reports related to daily activity, incidents, and unusual observations.
