As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
Possess a corrections officer license.
Possess a law enforcement officer license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and/or access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and law enforcement personnel as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or daily activities.
Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements.
Remain alert to any security-related risks or hazards within the location and report them promptly to the appropriate personnel.
