As a Security Officer - Armed Government Site Driver in Wauchula, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols as required.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site staff, visitors, and law enforcement as necessary.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Remain alert to unusual activities and promptly report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and verification of credentials for individuals entering restricted areas.
