You will maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Requirements

3+ years of combined military or law enforcement experience
Or Armed Security experience
Must be 21+ years old
Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report any suspicious activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement as needed to support security-related operations within the utilities environment.
Maintain a visible presence while performing duties to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
