About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Communications Driver in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide timely response to calls. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to maintain a visible presence while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications for the location, including phone calls, radio transmissions, and electronic messages, to support security-related operations.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal team members to dispatch appropriate responses to incidents and requests for assistance.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all incidents, dispatch activities, and communications as required by site-specific policies.
  • Assist in monitoring access control systems and visitor management procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Support the implementation of site-specific security-related policies and procedures in an aerospace and defense environment.
