Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an armed Security Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Monitor access points and common areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management and/or delivery protocols according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, amenities, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, identify maintenance concerns, and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate key updates during shift transitions, and support other security-related administrative tasks as assigned.
