About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Clearance Role in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with personnel, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific protocols.
Document and report security-related incidents, suspicious activities, and/or hazards to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client contacts.
Assist with emergency preparedness drills and support emergency response efforts as needed.
Follow all Allied Universal and client policies regarding the handling and use of firearms while on duty.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions at the location.
