Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Security in Saint Johns, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible at a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. Your presence will contribute to a secure environment for clients and staff, while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate at the financial institution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate security-related protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual or suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing security-related duties.
Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel when requested and in accordance with site procedures.
Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
