As an Armed Patrol Officer serving a financial institution location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment, responding to incidents, and acting as a trusted presence for clients and visitors. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge, or an associate degree or 60 college credits, or a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal.
Follow all protocols for handling security-related incidents, including those requiring an armed response, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or authorization for entry as required by site policies.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
