Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Escort in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
Carry out patrol duties while armed, adhering to all applicable protocols and regulations regarding the carrying and use of firearms.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and support site security-related objectives.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual activity according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
Work collaboratively with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and/or customers.
