About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Aero Patrol in Jupiter, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with established protocols for an aerospace and defense environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site protocols.
Maintain accurate logs and incident reports in alignment with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding site-specific security-related standards.
