About The Position

Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with established protocols for an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs and incident reports in alignment with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding site-specific security-related standards.
