Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Must be a graduate of Public Safety Academy
  • Must have experience in Law Enforcement / Corrections
  • Previous Military experience
  • Must possess a degree in Criminal Justice
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the property, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
  • Provide customer service by assisting residents, visitors, and vendors with inquiries and access-related needs.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual activity in daily reports.
  • Collaborate with property management and Allied Universal team members to communicate concerns and relay important information.
  • Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with emergency services.
