Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Must be a graduate of Public Safety Academy
Must have experience in Law Enforcement / Corrections
Previous Military experience
Must possess a degree in Criminal Justice
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the property, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
Provide customer service by assisting residents, visitors, and vendors with inquiries and access-related needs.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Document security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual activity in daily reports.
Collaborate with property management and Allied Universal team members to communicate concerns and relay important information.
Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with emergency services.
