About The Position

The Armed Security Officer position at Paragon Systems, Inc. involves overseeing security operations at a high-profile site under the supervision of a manager. The officer will be responsible for controlling access to the facility, patrolling the site, and preparing reports on incidents and security violations.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Armed Security / Law Enforcement experience or two (2) years of honorable service with the US Armed Forces.
• Ability to meet state, county, and municipal licensing and permit requirements for armed security work.
• Certification in Basic Life Support CPR/AED and First Aid from recognized organizations.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Respond to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response.
• Provide courteous and respectful interactions with clients and visitors.
• Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• Protect evidence or scenes of incidents during emergencies or investigations.
• Prepare logs or reports as required for the site.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to appropriate authorities.
• Respond to incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, and hazardous materials.
