As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations while partnering with site leaders and emergency responders when needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues for reporting.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor logs when required, and observe deliveries and shipping and receiving activity for unusual conditions.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.
