About The Position

As a Security Officer - Alarm Response Industrial in Camden, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of security, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Assist with enforcing site-specific policies and procedures related to access control within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations related to access control in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Document and report any unusual activity, denied access attempts, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related issues.
Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and coordinating with site management and/or emergency services as needed.
