As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial services location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to alarms and access control activity to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet and assist employees and visitors with a customer-first approach, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe people and activity for irregularities, assisting with visitor direction and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports and shift activity documentation, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.
