Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Rover in Mather, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and the public, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate parties and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns per site procedures and communicating with Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations using required logs and/or reporting systems.
