About The Position

As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocols and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Requirements

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and/or persons, documenting all incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and relay important information.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal and site procedures.
