About The Position

As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocols and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the area.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the property and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized behavior.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or activity as assigned.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public, offering assistance and information as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Remain aware of the working environment and adapt to changing conditions typical of airport or government-related locations.
