Job Description As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol in Santa Ana, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, and/or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and granting entry as directed by site policies.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all activities, incidents, and/or observations during the shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during critical situations.
Provide directions and general assistance to visitors, employees, and contractors within the location.
