About The Position

As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocols and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the location by providing directions and information as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities when required for incident response and reporting.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
