Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and directions as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
