Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport and other government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to the appropriate parties.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, perimeter routes, and other public and restricted locations to help to deter prohibited activity and/or policy violations.
• Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and directing visitors and/or vendors to designated screening, check-in, and authorized areas.
• Complete reports and logs, report maintenance concerns and suspicious activity, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or airport operations as needed.
