Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide assistance as needed.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies.
