Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures and verify identification as required by site-specific policies.
• Support emergency response efforts and communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential security-related issues.
