Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
  • Security Experience: 1+ years
  • 21+ years of age
  • Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
  • Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter prohibited behaviors and provide assistance as needed.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.
