Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor the location for security-related concerns, reporting any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and helping to direct individuals as needed within the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders as directed.
