Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned spaces, noting conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access, disruptions, and/or policy violations through professional presence and observation.
- Complete routine reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or daily operations, and support security-related procedures that align with site policies and client expectations.
