Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas within an aero and defense-related location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access control and general inquiries in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal and client personnel during emergency situations by following established procedures.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through visible presence and attentive patrolling.
