About The Position

As a Security Officer - Aerospace Patrol Lead in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense environment, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with personnel and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client personnel as needed to support security-related operations.
Document incidents and daily activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential risks and promote a secure environment.
