You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Lifting up to 20 lbs is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles according to site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and/or visitors with access-related inquiries and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures in alignment with site-specific policies, including those relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related breaches, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal and/or client representatives.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Maintain a professional presence while interacting with all individuals at the location.
