Job Description As a Security Officer - Aerospace Access Specialist in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated aerospace and defense locations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with access procedures and site-specific protocols.
  • Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site policies, including the use of electronic access control systems and visitor management processes.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for aerospace and defense environments.
  • Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations in a timely and accurate manner to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
