Job Description As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol Route in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas at an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential concerns.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity, and promptly report observations to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and general information to promote a positive experience at the location.
Follow all instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management to address changing needs or special assignments within the aerospace and defense environment.
