Job Description As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This post involves regular driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor the premises in accordance with established protocols for an aerospace and defense environment, reporting any unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and helping to restrict entry to authorized personnel only, as required by site policies.
