About The Position

As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol, Clearance Required in Roy, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a cutting-edge aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

Have 1+ years of security experience.
Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card/license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate contacts per post orders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, labs, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unsecured areas.
Control entry and exit at designated points by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in, and documenting deliveries and/or contractor activity as required.
Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and patrol observations, and communicate key information during shift handoff and/or to site leadership.
