Requirements

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at all times.
Support access control measures and monitor entry and exit points as appropriate for the location within the aerospace and defense sector.
Assist with emergency preparedness drills and participate in ongoing training relevant to the post profile and location.
