As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
One or more of the following: at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as required.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment and uphold site policies.
Participate in emergency preparedness drills and follow site-specific emergency response protocols as needed.
