As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • One or more of the following: at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as required.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment and uphold site policies.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness drills and follow site-specific emergency response protocols as needed.
