Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol Specialist in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, provide excellent customer service, and act as a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will also play a key role in assisting with access control and maintaining strong communication with team members, all while demonstrating the Allied Universal values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork. Requirements
- Candidates must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide high level customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious behaviors or conditions encountered during patrols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all security-related activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and onsite personnel to help to deter potential risks within the environment.
