As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Concierge in Kings Mountain, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access control at the main entrance, verifying identification and credentials for individuals entering the location.
Maintain a professional presence at the front desk, assisting with inquiries and directing individuals to appropriate areas within the facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, or policy violations to Allied Universal management and site contacts as required.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including following communication protocols and supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures.
Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor check-ins, deliveries, and other front desk activities as directed by site policies.
